About PokerPracticeSimulator
PokerPracticeSimulator is a free practice table for no-limit Texas Hold'em that teaches poker math while you play.
What is this site for?
This site is for learning Texas Hold'em by playing real hands. You sit at a table with one to eight computer opponents, play every street, and an assistant explains your odds as the cards come out. It is a learning tool, not a casino: there is no real money anywhere on the site.
How are the odds calculated?
The odds are calculated in your browser. Your win and tie chance comes from a 12,000-run Monte Carlo simulation against the opponents still in the hand (exact enumeration on a heads-up river), and outs are found by trying every unseen card. Pre-flop draw chances, such as flopping a flush, are counted exactly over every possible board.
Who makes PokerPracticeSimulator?
PokerPracticeSimulator is built and maintained by an independent developer who wanted a practice table that explains itself. It has no sponsors, no advertisers and no affiliation with any poker room or casino.
